The process of developing this logo was long and semi-painful. Working with someone who can not communicate their artistic vision proved to be the biggest challenge of this project, but we came to a compromise. Here is the progress of the logo:

So with the new information that I didn't meet the prerequisites for my 25100 I'm going to take this blog in a different direction in just posting artwork that I have completed in various other projects.
